Period 1 Getting Started + Message Box + Data Bank

目标:

I.              一般过去时动词的不规则变化

II.           一般过去时的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句

III.         重点地名、词汇、句型、词组的学习及乘坐交通工具的表达

TEACHING PLAN:

I.              Find the following places on the map of the USA.:

Los Angeles/ Houston/ Seattle/ Pittsburgh/ San Francisco/ New York/ Boston/ Detroit

II.           “Did you make any trips last year?” Ask one student and make an example. 

T: when/ where/ how… why… (Review transportation means: 

by train/ plane/ ship/ bus/ bike/ air/ on foot/ “by my bike” is wrong)

III.         1. Do you know any places or countries in South America? Brazil chile Venezuela Peru Argentina Are they all places?

2. Do many tourists go to South America every year? Do you like places with few tourists or lots of tourists.

3. Greg has just got back from or come South America…  

IV.        Data Bank

V.           Transportation Means: (Introduce data bank first) 

by train/ by plane/ by ship/ by bus/ by bike/ on foot/ by air/ by boat/ by tube/ by subway/”by my bike/ by my father’s car” are wrong

VI.        Bring to mind a trip you made and write on a piece of paper with some information as the summary says here: …

List some of the places which are worth visiting and some unforgettable experiences there.

VII.      Ask one student to bring this piece of paper.

VIII.   The others will ask related questions.

IX.        Message Box

X.           I went over or reviewed my lesson last Thursday.

XI.        What else did you do last week?  

Where else did you go last summer?

XII.      Nancy did not speak at the meeting, but Lucy did.

XIII.   The took lots of pictures when we were in San Francisco, ________

评课:

本节课重点难点突出,所要求学生掌握的知识,学生基本掌握。但在课堂上若能再设计一些能进一步让学生发挥想象力的活动更好。

 

教学反思:

    本节课预期效果基本达到,学生学习兴趣活跃,但时间的控制上不够紧凑,听说读写译各方面均能让学生操练到更好。
